If we aren't serious about the o-line needing fixed, then trade the first for Mike Wallace and BPA the whole draft. Try stopping these WRs...

Sorry but I totally disagree. We just traded for a #1 WR who'll cost us $9 mil and change a year. Why give up a first round pick and put up another $9 to $10 mil per year for a WR when if that's what we wanted we could draft one and he's cost us about $9-$10 mil over 4 years? That's a huge waste of resources with all of the other upgrade we need to make. I'd much rather spend that pick on Stephen Hill if we want to draft a WR in the first.

Not sure I would trade up, but I would think about trading down. Getting a few more picks to add more of what we need. We need one more dominant DE to help out Peppers. If we add another pass rusher on the other end, and I mean a dominating one, our secondary instantly becomes better. We need one more good WR, I am sorry but Sanz does nothing for me. He has a bad case of the dropsies.
WR and DE are tops, and if we can find a good OL somewhere (I hear the OL in the draft is not too deep this year) then great. But those are the top three priorities in my mind. Add more to the secondary of course, and for the love of all things football, start trying to find replacements for our aging LBs.

We have enough picks you need good players this trading down nonsense is when you have a solid roster and just need depth

I'm with you on you first paragraph up this point. If that's all you remember about Sanz then you must not have seen much of him in the preseason and before Bennett returned. He was a catching machine and at one point in time early on led the team in both receptions and TD's.. The kid has proven he can play in this league. The dropsies just like fumblitis can be cured. He's a crafty little guy who knows how to find open spots. His problem with the dropsies won't last. I think he was just trying to hard after he got replaced. His hands will come back. It's not like they were never there to begin with.
You hear incorrectly about the Oline. There are 4 very good OT's who will all be first round picks, two OG's that will go in the first, an OC in the first and good depth at OG all the way down into the third round. Maybe the best class of OG's ever. You won't find many drafts where three interior lineman are drafted in one. The scarcity is at OT. After those four the quality drops significantly but overall there are some very good lineman.
But definitely yes and a LB and a CB yet from FA. Don't know exactly what he's waiting for. Two guys have already been identified and we have cap room to sign them.

Promising start, disappointing finish last year agreed. I give Sanz a shot in TC/PS to win a slot job but he's on the bubble no doubt. If Knox is 100%, Sanz is probably going to the PS. If Knox is PUP, he's got a shot to stick on the team.
WRs:
1. Marshall
2. Bennett
3. Hester
4. Rookie draftee
5. Weems
6. Knox/Sanz

I think that Hester is done as a WR and will be a WR in name only.

I find no sense in that idea. He is finally in a position to actually succeed, one where he can actually be a complement to a group of guys in front of him. With Marshall here, he will no longer be "the guy", instead probably shifting from flanker to slot where his skills will find some open field with teams interested with our big #1. Add in the uncertainty of Knox, and I think this is going to be a year for him to step up and play a role there within expectations.
