OG is not a position you draft in the first 2 rounds when you still need 1 DT, 1 DE, 1 WR, 2 DBs and a LB

Webb won't be worse, it isn't even possible. Williams did a good job before he was out. Garza did a good job and the only problem with him is age and future. Spencer took a starting role and again, wasn't that bad. Carimi will be like an addition and will make us better. Still have EWilliams for depth and Louis did his job. Right now, we have other holes to fill to play up to our strenght and keep it our strenght after our ageing players leave. This is a Defensiv team and as the D goes, this team will go.
D won the SB again over the O this year...

We need to replace our older players and hope for the best with Cutty, Forte, Marshall and an OC that knows how to call plays and play the game the way it's played today.


OG is not a worry, LT is. We don't have star Guards, they are replaceable and we could use an upgrade, but our biggest problem is LT.
Emery will take care of this sooner or later, but he will. Right now, he has to find a way to give us a dominant D. We need to get better and with Forte coming back, adding Marshall and getting rid of RWill & MARTZ, we have a better offense. Our D is still the same it was last year, only 1 year older and less effectiv.

Upgrade our DL first, then our DBs. After that, take care of the OLine and draft guys like Potter in the 4th Round to give us depth and hope that we found a diamond in the later rounds

We do have some talent at LB and DE but there is no depth. I thought Chris Williams did great at LG, he was a pulling machine and a large part of Forte's success. We have a stable of young guards who may not be world beaters but they were very hampered by Martz's offense. I love Izzy but the dude is getting no pass rush for how little attention is on him because of Peppers. If Urlacher goes down we just have Briggs, how confident are you in our linebackers minus one Briggs or one Urlacher? If Peppers goes down our pass rush is done, he is our pass rush. We had a lot of trouble getting to the QB last year, some days we were on and some days they sat in the pocket for ages. You cannot run a functional Tampa-2 without a pass rush, the QB's in this league will eat you alive if you don't have them running around and making quick decisions. I'd love to have a Glenn or DeCastro terrorizing the DL but we need to upgrade this pass rush.

We need depth at linebacker, hopefully Okoye returns so DT isn't an issue, and we need a pass rusher. I want to add a receiver and some young talent to the OL but that shouldn't take precedent over a glaring weakness. Our offense can be as awesome as it wants but if we aren't getting after the QB in a division with Rodgers and Stafford it won't matter. I know this a passing league but I'm still on the "defense wins championships" boat and until something dramatic happens that ain't changing. Both need upgrades, but need #1 right now is a DE who can get after the QB across from Peppers. We're wasting a golden opportunity by having Peppers alone on DE position. Everyone's screaming for a WR opposite Marshall.. this is the same thing.. we need a DE opposite Peppers. The only difference is we know that without a DE across from Peppers our pass rush can be nonexistent.. who really knows what Bennett/Knox/Hester/Sanz/Davis are capable of now that Marshall is there on an offense that isn't run by a mad man.
