Their size and physical attributes are so enticing, where a guy like Wright has proven it with production. That said, is his production more a function of a tremendous QB? Hell, I'm just as prone to talk myself out of some of these guys than talk myself into them.

Right and problem seems to be a guy like Hill or Heyward Bey take years to start coming into their own while guys like Sanzenbacher, Knox, Wright, Maclin, Harvin, can come in and make impacts right away. So I do see the draw there I just envision Cutler looking out over his weapons and seeing Marshall a helmet taller than his other 7 WRs.

Remember Troy Williamson (the guy I think of when I think of Hill)? I was so worried about the Vikes getting him. I wanted the Bears to land him so bad as I got caught up in his combine speed. So glad they didn't call me for my opinion. Same goes for my desire to land Robert Gallery when he came out and Cadillac Williams. I sure hope I'm more right about Gabe Carimi (my guy last year) than I was about all those guys. I was also sure that Greg Olsen would be a Pro-Bowler before his rookie contract was up.

Lovie and Co. were busy yesterday I guess.

Were they not rumoured to be in Tuscaloosa as well, looking at Dre Kirkpatrick?

Me too. We have bigger needs for the early rounds of this draft than Kendall Wright. If this year proves that we still need more talent at WR we can draft another next year. There are Kendall Wrights in every draft so we won't miss out by not drafting him.

Anyone who would take Kendall Wright over lineman like DeCastro or Coples if we have a shot at those guys is crazy. Like I said, I'd take anyone of the other possibilities we've discussed before I'd spend our #1 pick on another WR. Unlike GB and Detroit we have a very good running game so we don't need to do it all via air power.

Stop and move on lol. I'd be hard pressed to come up with a realistic scenario where a WR in round 1 wouldn't be a dumb pick.

What happens if Marshall gets suspended?

What happens if there is another domestic issue?

    It is about insurance.

Yep. I'm already getting used to the idea of him being suspended for this latest incident. The NFL came down on Roethlesberger. What makes people think Goodell isn't going to smack Marshall pretty good? I say he gets banned for at least 6 games, when the smoke clears. That's why i say let's address this WR issue once and for all. Knox will be a FA at the end of the year and truned down an extension this past year. Let's get a head start at grooming a WR that will be here for a decade.
