LOL, I've gotta feeling the Bears are putting up their annual smokescreen about their intentions. They were pretty hard to hide last year but this years might be different. What may be legit interest may come from one of the WR's as an alternative if all of the DE's are gone but even then I'd probably go another direction but that's me. I don't see us spending a first round pick on a WR unless it's a pure BPA play.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

If all other viable options at DE are gone I'd be interested in looking at Wright. Dude could develop into a Wallace type player albeit a tad shorter.

I don't think he has the flat out speed that Wallace has but the kid is quick and he gets open at that level. The 5.0 NFP Mock has Denver taking him at #25 and I think he'd be a good fit here now that they have Manning. Maybe some of this WR activity is meant to be a setup for opportunities to trade back in the first????????

Yep. To be honest I would take just about anyone who ranks around there but him.

The Bears are in an arms race with the Lions and the Packers and while Marshall helps it does not put us on their level. This division is going to be won by teams that can score.
Kendall Wright is a dynamic play maker and has some serious game speed and as much as I wish he was taller than 5'10" the guy is constantly getting behind defenses. Wright is also more physical than a guy his size should be and on the WR screens and crossing routes he looks like Steve Smith.
I would have no problem if we picked Wright regardless of the board because he adds another weapon for Cutler to take advantage of.
To me Wright, Mercilus and Perry are all ranked the same as they are 15-25.

I'm just afraid we have guys in this mold already, 6' and shorter quick playmakers, problem was they never seemed to use the speed as an advantage with quick crossing routes. I'm all for weapons but what does Wright have that Hester/Knox can't provide us with. I would just hate to get another fast 6 footer at 19 when we can help somewhere else.
