He fits in with Mercilus and Perry as a first round pick and before the second round rated guys like Branch and Curry, etc.

I'm pretty resigned to the fact that Okoye is gone with all the competition we're facing for his services. I can see us going DT in pretty much any round where we have a near BPA at the position, but I don't know that I see DT in our first-round future. Cox is a stud, and Poe would be a great change-up for our system, and if they are indeed BPA on our board at 19, cool. However, I really like the 3-tech depth this year, with guys like Wolfe, Howard, Crick and Martin to be had well after round one. I'm also intrigued by the DE to UT conversions Malik Jackson and Billy Winn.

I would guess your right about Okoye. It looks to me like he's just biding his time to get the highest offer he can and if TB still has $$$ to burn I'd guess they would make a strong push for him. Emery seems to have scored where he can and when something is hanging on this long it's not a very good sign.

Don't think they'd go with Cox unless the DE prospects were gone and it comes down to him over other positions. Poe probably won't be around by then if the projections are accurate. I still think it comes down to Mercilus vs whatever other choices there are unless he's gone. We can either draft a 3t DT or in a pinch Paea can still play 3t although I still think they have him staked out more at NT right now.

Isn't Crick a bit tall for playing inside and doesn't he have an injury problem? He's always been listed as a DE in the stuff I've seen?
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
