He always has. Lovie has always gone to sporadic Pro-Days, interviewed guys in private workouts, gone to the Senior Bowl and the Combine. Players have always talked about talking with Coach Lovie from the Bears when interviewed by the press. I really don't see anything different here from every other year except that Lovie is talking to the press more than Emery.

That's the big difference that I see. Emery doesn't need to have his hand in everything the way that Angelo did and Emery is not the publicity hound that Angelo was. Most of what we heard building up to the draft was from Angelo. We seldom heard anything out of Lovie. Emery can delegate whereas I think Angelo was poor at that.

I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Good for Emery. All hands need to be on deck when the draft approaches. Lovie makes a lot of money. I'm swinging from Emery's nuts right now. I like how he's changing things.

Thanks for the morning chuckle PapaBear. Hey, at least your honest. Save some room for me for after the draft as I'm ready to jump on when the time is right.

So how's the weather up there?
We mere mortals have a tough time craning our necks to look that high, giant that the man has now become compared to Angelo.

Angelo is the perfect act to follow.
I once had a part time job where my boss thought I was a god because I showed up everyday and was sober, because the guy before me was a total dead beat.
I will not question anything Emery does this offseason.
I am chugging the kool aid.

Come one man, we're Bears fans we can't be completely happy with everything. That's not regulation. We need to find at least one thing to complain about.
I'm guessing maybe a QB in the 6th round or a Punter in the 7th would probably do it.
So far it's hard to find fault with the logic behind any of the moves he's made or the entire team has made so far this year. Did you see that layout I did by another guy on the ESPN site?
I remember when many were bitching about the Bears requiring the new GM keep Lovie aboard but so far that's worked out great. As Forrest Gump would say, so far the two of them go together like peas and carrots. Lovies out there humping it on the road and talking to the press while Phil and Cliff Stein gets the FA guys under contract and he sets up the big board for the draft. Phillips sticks his head up to address the Forte thing and all the while Emery just keeps keepin' on doing his thing.
This is the most dynamic activity I've seen out of Halas Hall since Ditka and McMahon were stirring one another up.

Damn you don't you dare start with the QB BS
Wasting a 6 or 7 on a punter is alright I guess.
