Floyd will not be available come 19. I'd like to pick him up though. I've seen him dominate on the field. The kid wants the ball all the time. You've got to appreciate that.

I'm hoping we get a few guys that will bolster our offensive line and defensive backs during this draft.

You might see a defensive back or two taken in the draft, but I highly doubt you'll see any offensive linemen taken in the initial roun(s). Maybe by the third round, you'll see the Bears go after Zeitler to play G, but I doubt seriously they'll go after Cordy Glenn, Jonathan Martin, or Peter Konz in the first round.

He was favored to be picked up quick but these two things had an impact.
I understand the flags that surrounded him, but he showed back in '08 what a dominating WR he could be at the next level. Guys with his type of talent do not come around every draft. The whole relationship with Sanders isn't even a big deal from a football standpoint. It may have been to the NCAA but not when it comes to evaluating whether a guy can play. DUIs are a bigger issue and hopefully teams blow that up and Floyd also slides, right into the Bears lap.

You said it friend. No one in the NFL cares that much about the Sanders issue. I think just the fact that Bryant was having his name trampled on a little didn't help. The no-show for the scouting combine is what hurt more.

My fingers are crossed that Floyd slides too. DUI's aren't good for WR. Just ask VJax. But, like you said, maybe it will help us aguire him.

Since we already have one large WR in Brandon Marshall, I wonder whether the Bears will consider drafting Kendall Wright? He may only be 5'10" or 5'11", but he's a speedster and would be an instant hit within our receiving corps.
