I personally see 12-4. 49ers and Texans could both end up being losses (teams with good balance), and I kinda expect to split with the Lions and Packers.

While I do think the schedule is favorable, it's going to be a tough division to win because the Packers and the Lions are probably going to be as good as well, or, in the Packers case, they'll probably still be a little bit better. I think it best if we don't count our chickens before they hatch because with the way the draft usually goes, bad teams from the past year can improve over night and become killers the following season. Just look at the Lions from last season and look at that team in the 2010 season when they were lacking depth and a stable quarterback situation. Now, Stafford is healthy, and Megatron is the top WR in the NFL. The Lions don't have a great offensive line, but they have a solid WR core led by Megatron, and whenever Mikel LeShoure comes back from injury, I expect them to have a solid running attack as well.

I'll say anywhere from 11-13 wins. Some of the road games, like San Fran & Dallas are hard to predict. I could really see the Niners take a step back next year and you never know which Cowgirls team will show up these days.

I think 10-6 is reasonable. I think we lose twice to the Packers because we did little to upgrade our secondary and we still don't know what is going to happen as far as another pass rusher is concerned. Our offensive line still sucks balls, and then there's the issue of having Lovie Smith still as the coach of the Bears. I'm a little mixed about Phil Emery as well; some of his moves have been great, while others have sucked. I hope that he doesn't turn into Jerry Angelo v2.0 and waste money on bad players and refuse to pay for good players like he's doing with Matt Forte. (Granted, Forte is probably wanting more money than he's worth, but neither side is willing to budge on anything.)

Lions have been getting better and with Matthew Stafford, Ndamukong Suh, Calvin Johnson, Jahvid Best, and Nick Fairley they will be a challenge. The 49ers are equally challenging with Alex Smith, Micheal Crabtree, Vernon Davis, Frank Gore, and Kendall Hunter. If we can beat these teams we'll be in good shape.

One thing's for sure: the NFC is back to being the best, most competitive conference in pro football. The NFC has won four of the past five Super Bowls, so that speaks for itself.
