Losing the SB wasnt his fault and i dislike grossman and im even a florida fan if that means anything
Grossman sucked out, period. You can make all the arguments you want about the ball snaps, though I'm still inclined to believe that he was more at fault than Kreutz, but that pick-six in the fourth quarter when the Bears were driving down the field was a real killer for me. It's kind of ironic how the Bears now have Kelvin Hayden on the roster since he was the reason the Bears suffered the most heartbreaking loss in franchise history.

I'll never forget when Grossman threw that pick six to Kelvin Hayden how I jumped up off the couch and screamed, "FUCK YOU, GROSSMAN!!!" I must have done so about eight to ten times. I know I scared my cat, who had been trying to calm me down all evening since I was tense.
Were you also cursing at the vaunted defense for letting two shitty runningbacks run all over them and not even forcing Manning to choke, as he has done in every other big game he played in? If the defense was respectable that day, the Bears would have won.

As for the topic of this thread, I don't know that I would want to play the Steelers. The Steelers are a good team to dislike, especially after the egg they laid against the Packers. However, I would have a bad feeling about that game. It would piss me off to no end that, that after completely handing the Packers a championship, Rapistburger would potentially have a good game and beat the Bears. Seriously, if he isn't horrible in SB45, the Steelers win comfortably. It would drive me nuts if he "came to play" against the Bears after gifting a trophy to the Packers.

Give me Manning and the Broncos.

My pick is for the Bears to play 3-time Lingerie Football League champions Los Angeles Temptation

...and for Lady Gaga and Nickelback to perform at halftime.

Lady Gaga performed at last years SB. Oh wait. Actually it was Lady Gaga's mother, Lady Madonna.

I was upset at the way the defense bailed out and didn't play the run like they should've, so yes, I'm sure the "shits, damns, hells, fucks, etc." came out of the broom closet.

I want the Donkeys too. I would like to get back at Peyton Manning the Colt (not Peyton Manning the Tennessee Volunteer, of which we both attend(ed) the same university). We have a score to settle wioth him.

If we do reach the SB a matchup with the 85 Bears would finally settle any argument about which SB team was better. Guess we'll need to wait for a computer simulation of that one though.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Did I ever tell you that I have the DVD Box Set of the 1985 Bears' Season? It covers both Tampa Bay games, the Minnesota game at the Metrodome, the Packers game where the Fridge rumbles in for a touchdown, the 49ers game, the Dallas game, the Miami game (boo, refused to watch), the last Detroit game, and the entire postseason. I wasn't impressed with the defense at all when they had Mike Hartenstine play RDE, but that maybe because Hartenstine was on his last legs. The Niners game was an impressive win, and then there was that Dallas game...and just wow! Then there's the postseason where the Bears played lights out...unbelieveable.
