What I won't accept as proof is masking by rolling pockets, chip help, and scheming to mitigate his mistakes

What I'll accept as proof it isn't working is decline or stagnation of the above

Again it isn't about a nebulous concept of "trust" it's SKILL DEVELOPMENT

    Here's to Webb improving.
Amen shorty. I'm not about hiding the guy from danger either. I'm also not about handing him the job with no competition and if that means moving CWill back out to LT or dragging Carimi over for a look see I'm all for that and may the best man win.

I can only judge from what I could see and there were times he looked like he was beginning to "get it" and other times when it looked like he was practicing to become the next Manolete and would be better off in a bullring than in an NFL stadium. Which one will show up is anyone's guess.

With his size if he finally does "get it" he should be able to dominate but I'll settle for competent. I can live with a few sacks. You're not gonna shutout the Jared Allen's of the league week after week but those foolish false starts and holding penalties have got to go. That's not getting beat that's beating yourself.

We already did! Oh my God, if Webb's name is really Omiyale maybe we cut the wrong guy?????

In answer to your first question, it shouldn't be hard at all and that's the point. And if he doesn't the attempt should come to an end.

Yep. And all the complete nonsense about this guy having the athleticism to man this position, geez what the f are people looking at ? His feet - as a pass blocker - absolutely fucking suck ! I doubt Cutler has much chance of getting injured handing off. But when he drops back - with this OAF 'protecting' his blind side , it's only a matter of time b4 he gets creamed ... numerous times. The only hope is that none of these hits ends his season.

It really is funny hearing people touting the 'positives' of a 7th fucking rounder over a 1st, 2nd or 3rd rounder because they " might not even be better " - cuz Webb " has more experience " and " just needs a little more time to get used to playing the position" and he'll obviously be better cuz he " won't be blocking Martz's offense ". Really ? It was Martz's offense that makes his feet as a pass blocker suck ? Bullshit. He either has what it takes or he doesn't. And so far - he doesn't. Not even close.

IF he improves ... then I'll have been wrong .... but right now I ain't.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?

    A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

So let's wait to see if he does or doesn't and go to plan B if he fails. I'll assume that their is a plan B this year until we see differently and if there isn't I'll be bitching just as loud as y'all are now but we're not to that point yet. So why anticipate the worst? That's Tice's job.

Beyond the first one or two OT's in any draft there are few sure things no matter where they were drafted. If Webb had finished out his college career at Texas rather than West Texas A&M he may not have been a 7th round pick. We don't know that. OMG was a 5th round pick and he's even worse and CWill was a first rounder and we've gotten zero out of him as a LT so far. Brian Bulaga was a Packer first round pick in 2010. How many games has he started at LT for the Packers?

I don't give a rats ass where they're drafted or whether they were even drafted at all. Either a guy can play or he can't and that's really all we need to find out about Webb this year. Can he play LT in the NFL of do we need to keep on looking?

So I guess 1st or 2nd or 3rd round talent, at ANY position is really a crap shoot then ( or an educated guess at best ) .

Yet there's alot of pontificating that goes on about which round a guy SHOULD be drafted in. There's alot of playing both sides of the fence. When it's convenient to play this side of the fence we hear xyz. When it's convenient to play the other side it's abc.

You see guys like Biggs and Arkush on tv shows like Comcast Sports Net talking about certain players belonging in this round or that round like it came from The Burning Bush. You see it here too.

    Hmm ... well ok.

Ive always liked Konz at C and move garza to gaurd letting Cwill/Webb battle form LT, if Webb proves he can do it let cwill play gaurd...if cwill wins LT then its spencer/lewis at gaurd
