LOL, now it will be AFC West and former Falcons. No big deal on the 90 guys. Just more fodder to play against in camp.
What I am curious about is how they will be paid. The money that was going to the high draftees was supposed to go to veterans. That is how they got the draft pay scale passed. Well, now they just put 10 new guys on the roster - temporarily.
How does that work? Does that come out of the cap, or do only the players on the 53 man roster come out of the cap? I'm assuming that some of these 10 guys will have to be lured with a contract that may mean a year of guaranteed pay - so where does that come from? What I am wondering is - have the owners found a way to keep veteran pay down as well as new draft players pay down? Id so, they really outmanuevered the players union.
