With the focus on passing, most of the defenive focus is rightly going towards being able to disrupt the pass - specifically DE, DT CB, etc. That usually means that when focus is placed on one thing, something else suffers (human nature). I think that stopping the run has moved down the chain of priorities and while it is still important, most defensive resources are being spent on stopping the pass. I really think this gives us an edge as teams are not so much beuilding their defenses to stuff the run as much as they used to. With the three guys we have (and now a real passing attack - as long as Cutler can stay upright), having these three guys rotating will give some teams a hard time.Of course having said all of this means that Forte will be traded tomorrow....
