Not while Lovie is still the Bears HC we won't.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
Honey Badger Don't Care. Honey Badger Don't Give a Shit.

I am just glad that JA is not with the bears anymore.
After NY beat greenbay, I'm thinking a 4,3 with a strong defensive line that puts a lot of pressure on the qb is the way to beat these high powered passing offenses. We just might have this this year with the addition of McClellin. I wonder if izzy will rotate inside some this year.
I just like the 4-3 for the Bears. We shouldn't break on tradition, unless we want to start back up the 46. I'd be okay with that.
I'm all for tradition too, but if Emery has completely bought into doing things the "Patriot way" then its just inevitable that we'll be switching to a 3-4 when he fires Lovie. Its just a matter of time before he lets Lovie go. Just need the wrong kind of ending to the season in order to pull the trigger.

I think Emery is satisfied with Lovie as his coach right now, BBPB. He knows that Lovie nearly made the playoffs for the second year in a row and that he's been given shit to work with ever since he's been the head coach of the Bears.
Frankly, I think Lovie is a great coach, although sometimes my faith in him wavers whenever the team struggles. After all, he has a 71-57 record, good for a .555 winning percentage, has won three division titles, been in two NFC Championship Games, and was in the Super Bowl. Emery would look like shit if he fired Lovie Smith right now. Lovie's record is very similar to that of Tom Coughlin's while in New York as well as Mike McCarthy up in Green Bay.
