He's a good fit for the Cover 2 as a 6'3, 4.4 speed Safety, but still a reach in my eyes. I think a lot of Bears fans questioned the Conte pick last year, also in the 3rd, so I'm hoping this one turns out the same.
At the very least it gives Wright some much needed competition.

I'm happy with this pick. This kid has wheels and he can hit. The fact that he didn't play in 2011 means he should be well healed. He had a good combine.

It's clear Emery has some giant cajones. He is swinging for the fences with some risky, but obviously high-upside and rare-talent individuals with these past two picks. I love it! Hardin is an even bigger and more athletic Chris Conte conversion player minus the year of S experience.

That pretty much sums up this draft so far. I love the fact that he's taking some chances here with guys that could radically change this defense and offense. And I agree Hardin is a bigger and more athletic Chris Conte. He's also a ferocious tackler.

Isn't this what we hated JA for? But instead of Cajones and Swinging for fences we called it thinking he was smarter then the room, and reaching? The difference will be in the production. I hope to god it's big ol fence swinging cajones.

I don't consider the McClellin and Jeffery picks to be very risky, but I do this one. I was under the impression that he wanted to stay as far away from injury-prone players as was humanly possible. So much for that idea. I'm not saying that this Hardin boy won't be any good - I'm saying that if he stays hurt and becomes a busted player, you'll know who to blame for his being drafted.

Nice - the kid can bring it.

Ja went by combine results and tried to get the guys developed which rarely happened which is why he is gone. Jeffry was projected number one wr by Kiper back in September and number 5 pick but his numbers dipped due to a shit qb situation. And now we are taking that type of talent and instead of being a number one throwing him in at number two.
And he hasn't torn his acl in both knees so that is also un ja like lol
And we need a safety and nothing available in fa so really reaching on someone probably needed in a weak s class

JA went by the measurables and the combine - he wanted athletes. Emery says he wants football players. I completely agree with Emery on that one.
