With that said I think other then the Shea pick where reiff and decastro was there it felt dissapointjng passing those guys up. But after the other two picks I couldn't really name a guy on ol I would take over them. I guess that's how I look at it. Also maybe with a stronger wr core we won't see those crazy blitzes as much that over whelmed our lumps of coal on the oline.
Im no way saying that the top 5 worse oline in the league needs no help. Getting rid of martz isn't getting rid of oline problems.
We still have tice. lol

Shrine game
The move to safety was because one of the safeties on the roster was hurt in practice, so Hardin filled in.
At 6-foot-3, 218 pounds, Hardin has the build and speed to play safety but has always been a corner with his agility.
"I think the game went well for me," Hardin said. "I felt good when I was out there. I was playing full speed and hitting. After the game I was a little sore, but didn't have any worries in the game (about the shoulder)."
Hardin wanted to show he could still play after he missed his senior season to recover from shoulder surgery. He was injured in August during training camp.
The biggest play for Hardin was recovering an onside kick that led to a first-half touchdown for the West. He had four tackles and was able to show off his special teams ability.
Scouts told him they could see him as either a corner, safety or a hybrid defensive back. Hardin was able to practice one day at corner before moving to safety for three practices.

Hardin appears to have all the physical tools – good size and excellent speed – but the question is whether he’ll be healthy to stay on the field. Only time will tell. I agree with BBPB, I like white hard-hitting defensive backs. ;-)

If Only DB were still here... I would own his signature. I knew we would ONCE AGAIN draft a safety

No issues w/this pick, other then he seems like he's a bit fragile. But time will tell; good pick.

Reiff no, DeCastro yes. Must have been tough to pass up a guy rated in the top 5 overall. I don't share your opinions about the line though. Whatever you think I stand by the point I made. They need time playing together. Emery has had all kinds of chances to make moves to bring in other lineman in FA or draft them. So why hasn't he?
How can you praise him or at least think he made some half-way shrewd moves elsewhere but then totally ignore the line if he felt there were players besides Rachal he could upgrade with. It makes no sense does it? Why do everything else to improve the offense BUT that when you know it all starts there?
The only logical conclusion anyone can draw from it is exactly what I said. They're reasonably happy with the guys they have and haven't found much of anyone out there they like better. They just passed on OT Bobby Massie in the 4th to take a busted ass TE who grades out as an UDFA. Mo, look at the evidence. He keeps passing on every opportunity to sign or draft lineman. What does that tell you?
What you think or what I think doesn't matter. They think the guys they have will work.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

I'm actually getting a hard on thinking about how they're all gonna deal with Davis, Marshall and Jeffery inside the ten yard line too. Every team in the NFCN is gonna need to apply to the league to see if they can put lifts in their DB's cleats to cover these guys.
Are you excluding all those 40 year old nurses you fancy? LOL
