Singletary said this kid can play anywhere you ask him to and he'll play to his max and beyond wherever you put him. He can gain and shed weight at need and yeah, he was probably fast enough to cover a WR at the college level. There was only one DE who ran a faster 40 at the Combine and that was Irvin. These two guys are freaky fast for DE's. He's played OLB at 245lbs and he's played DE ay 260lbs so he's not just a 3-4 OLB.

He's not Dan Bazuin. We get BSU football games out here and I saw a couple of games but I admit I wasn't following it like I was grading him or something. He was making plays all over the field to the point where BSU had to shift him around to keep him in the game because the other team just ran left when he was on their right and vice versa. I remember one play where they sent and OT and their TE after him on a double team. Those two collided with him, he bounced off and ran right around them and nailed the QB for a loss.

This kid is a lot closer to freaky Brian Urlacher kind of talent than he is to Dan Bazuin and he played against much better competition than Dan Bazuin did too. BSU kicks ass on the big boys all the time.

From the tape I saw, he's got some real zip to his step, and he gets to the quarterback or running back in a hurry. I almost wish he would LOLB for us, but we need him at LDE more than at LB.

Other then that looks like their plan was giving cutler weapons to match the division leaders and it's about damn time. If it was up to ja our wrs would be Knox Hester and benett blah.

One interesting thing is some people speculating we traded up for hill but then jets leap frogged us. Idk how much of that is true cause Gabriel refuted it

At this point I just hope the new weapons equals less blitzes so the oline issues can be masked

I fully expect that this offensive line is going to look a lot like the one up in Detroit about a year ago. With our cache of weapons at wide receiver, our stable of running backs, and the shiftiness of Cutler to take into consideration, life will be considerably better, regardless of whether Webb has really improved that much or not.

I think we did real well up until the 6th and 7th and then my WTF flag got run up the flag pole. Seems to me like both of those guys could just as easily have been UDFA.

And speaking of UDFA's the war room is now on the phone with those guys trying to corral the ones we want who weren't drafted. If they called me I don't know that after those last two picks I'd feel like I was the fat kid in glasses we always picked last and put in right field when we chose up sides for a sandlot game.

It had to be hard NOT to take DeCastro when he was still there. I would have loved to see what went on in the war room when they saw that.
