To me a nearly perfect sized UT with Cameron's productivity trumps and undersized CB whose main claim to fame is as a nationally ranked return man.
I'm pretty sure most, if not all, teams draft the BPA on their board in the seventh. So McCoy probably just carried a higher impact grade regardless of need.

Are there any other free agents (non-rookie) OTs or OGs on the market whom you are aware of who could help with depth and, perhaps in the interior, could start? I've been hearing bad things about Rachal; in fact, I just read a message board of 49er fans calling Rachal a "turn style." I hope Tice doesn't plan on starting him on the line because if he does, we're in a lot of trouble with him and Webb.

Wedige has signed with the Cards, not the Bears.

C'mon Bears let's bring in Vontaze Burfict and Cliff Harris. Let's give these clowns a chance man.

James Brown, OL, Troy

Finally, an OL! He can play multiple positions. Good athlete. PFW had him as a 3rd-4th rd pick. I would've been happy if we got him with either of our last 2 picks. Maybe the Bears do know more than us? Nah.

Coston played S and CB in college and his FREAK workout may mean he gets a look at CB in the NFL.

I have heard that Brown has not made up his mind and someone from the Troy sports office tweeted out that he had not signed.
Brown would be an awesome pick up and a legitimate threat to make the team. He looked good at OG at the Senior Bowl and was carrying a 4th round grade from most publications.
