Of course, we need to see how these picks pan out, but I feel pretty optimistic about that.
Bingo!!!!!! Yep, PB that's exactly what he did. He put it out there from the start. He told us what he was looking for; size, speed, football character, and the ability to come in an make an impact somewhere day one. There isn't one of those guys in the first four rounds who doesn't meet that criteria but that still hasn't sunk in with a half dozen sportswriters apparently.

Every single on of those guys is a tactical fit in a spot we didn't already have a player with those skills or physical attributes. Isaiah Frey was the only guy that was drafted just to add some depth and competition at CB and he's no different than a guy like a Josh Moore was but he fit a need for competition and youth at CB. Greg McCoy on the other hand was drafted for his skills as a KOR guy, not as a CB, so that was a tactical pick too. Makes sense to be thinking about life after Devin Hester and McCoy is an All American KOR guy.

The more I look at Emery's first draft, the higher I'm beginning to put the grade on it as a personal opinion. Right now, it's on the border line between an A- and a B+. If he had drafted Brown in the seventh round, I would have said that he would have done damn near perfect.

So just pretend he got Brown with pick 7a and give him the damn grade teach. If your prof's are gonna be that nit picky with you you'll never get done with college. Geez. LOL
