Stupid article. Its getting downright annoying to read anything on the interwebz regarding the Bears. I mean they haven't even played a game this year and they're already a lock for a 5-11 season. lolz

Nah, 11 wins and a wild card shot w/Det. NFCN is still the most dominant and difficult div, even w/the queens stinking up the joint like they are the 80's Buc's.

Having read those articles on Bleacher Report by Matt Miller...this article is terrible. His lists are the laughing stock of that site. He had Darren Sproles as the best RB in the game. Oh, and both Jordy Nelson and Greg Jennings on top of 24 others are better than Brandon Marshall. He was very complimentary of Cutler though.

Exactly what I saw too Jimmors. If it has little enough credibility when the hard facts of grading come from B/R's own resident genius Matt "Who The Fuck Is He" Miller" (oh you know him, he has a syndicated column in all the major national newspapers, writes for SI and Sporting News, and is a frequent and respected guest on all the sports networks......isn't he?????.......no?????) when I saw Ryan Clady mentioned as a weak spot on the Bronco line well then LM EverLovin FAO TWICE!
This assclown has no idea what he's writing about and that article isn't fit to wrap a dead fish in. End of Story!

First of all, I have never considered Roberto Garza and Chris Williams to be weak links in our offensive line. In fact, Garza was an honorable mention for the Pro Bowl last year, and when Williams is healthy, he is a beast of a LG. Webb, Lance Louis, and Chris Spencer are either suspect or just plain bad, but we have at least two decent offensive linemen. I'll agree with this clown that our offensive line sucks, but even it deserves credit where it is due, especially in its run blocking.

Well, I have to agree with the majority in this thread that this article is poorly supported and there are so many holes in his logic that it looks like it's been hit with bird shot.
That said, I also agree with Jackie that everyone in here expected help for the O-Line in this draft. I was actually hoping for at least two, but none the less, that's how the draft falls. The point is, the underlying premise, regardless of how week his reported support is, is that our O-Line is much worse than our front office/coaches seem to believe it is, and I happen to agree with this premise.
We can speculate all day long that the additions of weaponry on the outside will help reduce Blitz packages, and that's probably true, but the majority of our sacks last year came from a simple four man rush. Our guys suck at picking up stunts, and many sacks just came from out playing our guys up front. It wasn't all on Martz either. Not all those sacks came from long drawn out 7 step drops. In fact, those plays were seldom used in our offense after about week 3.
The fact is, we do have bad players on our O-Line, many of whom would be lucky to make it off the practice squad in most other NFL cities. We can sugar coat it or wrap in in pretty wrapping paper all we want, but it's a very real problem and we all know it...don't we?

Can someone tell me how I can get a job writing stupid articles. Sure we didn't go out and get an OT but that doesn't mean that we haven't fixed the O line. First off we don't even know for sure who is going to play what position on the line yea. We have 2 1st round draft picks coming off IR. We now have three top WR. Two good TE and 2 top RB, plus a mobile QB and a good back up.
We could have gone in FA for a O linemen and then drafted a couple, but then what would the writer say about the Bears. The Bears have no weapons for Culter and I don't care how good the O line is without having a #1 WR and RB (Forte has signed is FT yea) the Bear will be lucky to go 5 and 11 this year.
Or lets say we got BM and Bush and drafted 2 or 3 O linemen, a WR, and TE. What would the writers have writen about. The Bears will be lucky to go 5 and 11 with the age of many of the Defensive players and there failure to address the Defense during the draft.
Hell if we had picks 10 thru 30 in the draft and 20 million extra in FA money we would still only be going 5 and 11 because we didn't pick or pick up this guy or that guy. I can see it now the Bears have failed this off season and will end up going 5 and 11 because the failed to sign M. Williams and let the Bill get him. Or something along these lines the Bears have doomed themselfs by not having 2d, 3d and 4th round picks in the draft and will be lucky to get 5 wins this year.
Hell we haven't even made it to the second part of FA and we are already out of the running. It isn't like we will evaluate our players during camp and if someone isn't cutting it, we won't go out and try to find a replacement for that person.
Has anyone told his so called writers that JA is gone and Emery seems to know what he is doing or is this just a blind point to these guys.

Is this late april joke?
Sure we could have gotten a few new guys to our Oline, but I think that the first step was to get ride of Mike fucking Martz. Now that he is gone I have faith in Mike Tice.
But we'll see after this year how "bad" the line actually is. I don't blame the guys for having a "horrible" season last year, we had fucking Mike Martz every team would fail under him.
