We could sure use the talent he has in him as long as he works at it. A guy like him should have a lot of motivation when he sees what the guys who got picked a round earlier got knowing he could have gotten it too if he hadn't had such a bad 2011.
We had some pretty good luck with a different WR out of South Carolina some years back before he got hurt so let's hope Jeffery has got some Marcus Robinson in him.

Alshon Jeffery is going to be a special player for Bears lining up opposite Brandon Marshall in the offense. If this offensive line holds up, I have no reason to doubt that this will be one of, if not the most dynamic, passing games in the league. But first, we have to make sure that Cutler can stand up right and not be knocked on his ass all the time.
