Why Did We Spend a 1st Round Pick on a Safety for Cripes Sake!!!!!

In 2000 we spent our first pick on this guy and in college he played a Rover or a SS position. He was the #2 ranked OLB in the draft and projected as a first round pick. Seems to me he's had a pretty good career.

So in 2012 we picked this guy who played DE/LB in college and also got moved around to take advantage of his athleticism. He was also the #2 ranked OLB in the draft and projected as a first round pick as well. I wonder how this one will do?

Check out their Combine stats. With the exception of bench press reps you might be looking at almost the same player.

Well if anyone remembers history getting urlacher was the best accident. Dumb ass mccaskey decided to blurt out how badly we wanted Burris so Pitt traded up to get him which in default we got urlacher. Best mistake a mccaskey ever made lol

Yeah Mikey never was any good at keeping his trap shut was he mo? Remember the fiasco over his announcing the McGinnis hire before Dave McGinnis had agreed to terms? What a fuck up. That one cost him his job as the Bears fearful leader.

Oh good God, Rick Mirer, Cade McClown (two names that give me very bad nightmares), Brian Cox, Curtis Enis, hiring Wanny, man the list of his mismanagement could make a book on Bears history all by itself.

There was a reason why The Old Man told Ginny, "anybody but Michael". Well enough of the bad McCaskey brother I'm getting a much better feeling for George. After all he was named after The Old Man wasn't he?
