    I don't remember Jeff Graham or Curtis Conway, so I can't really relate.

    I just looked up Jeff Graham. WHY DID WE TRADE HIM/NOT RE-SIGH HIM?

    I can kinda see why we didn't keep Conway. He stayed injured a lot apparently.

    Wannstedt and Ted Phillips couldn't justify paying Jeff Graham what the Jets offered (3yrs $5.4 million). This is 1996 money but it was ridiculous they let him go. He and then QB Erik Kramer were magic.

    Curtis Conway looked like he was going to be a stud. He had all the ability but just never put it together. He had 2 great years with the Bears but that's it. He was fast and explosive in space.

    I didn't realize that Ted Phillips has been with the Bears since the mid-'90s.
