"You can't stop me" ... It's "You can't stop us!"
I really hope Marshall can play as good as in Denver, and Jeffery at the season with 1.500 yards. Two seasons ago if I'm corret.
But be carefull, we might overhype all this and it will turn out to be like the Eagles in the last season... Oh whom am I trying to trick, ofcause we're going to kick ass with that team we have. All we need is Forte to get a LT deal..

As much as I disliked the Bears orange jersey's there has never been an uglier uni combo ever than those old yellow and brown Broncos "throwbacks". The NFL Shop must have a warehouse full of them because I've seen a soul even wearing one.

Slap them into two halves of an English Muffin with an egg and they'd look like the were sponsored by McDonald's to promote their breakfast menu.

Edit: Oh I almost forgot. As for our two "aircraft carriers"........WOW, just WOW. Talk about two big guys with a huge "catch radius"! If Jay can get it within 5 yards of them they'll make the grab. They've both got an unbelievable set of paws on them.

I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

I believe the Bears are going to serve notice on their opponents this year. We have the best mix of offense, defense, and special teams in the NFC North now. I predict that we will win the division title this year.

SI just voted Jefferys as one of 12 NFL rookies capable of making an immediate impact this season.

"The five wide receivers drafted ahead of him—Justin Blackmon (Jacksonville), Michael Floyd (Arizona), Kendall Wright (Tennessee), A.J. Jenkins (San Francisco), Stephen Hill (New York Jets)—all step into quarterback situations that may hamper them,” writes Sports Illustrated.

“With the Bears, Jeffery will catch passes from a surefire gunslinger in Jay Cutler.

JJ-30, did you say one time that you attended Auburn University? Well buddy, I'm from another SEC school! I am just getting ready to graduate next week from the University of Tennessee! I remember some classic games when I was younger that were played between Tennessee and Auburn back before the SEC was split into two divisions. I really believe in a lot of ways that the SEC Championship Game was the worst thing to ever happen to football in the SEC because it killed a lot of rivalries that had dated back several decades. Tennessee and Auburn were big time rivals from the days of Gen. Neyland and "Shug" Jordan. Thank God Tennessee still plays Alabama every year, because I would absolutely hate it if this further expansion of the conference with the additions of Texas A&M and Missouri bumped the Tide off of our schedule.

Probably the most fond games I remember between Tennessee and Auburn were, of course, big time wins for the Vols. The first game that I actually remember watching as a little boy when I first started following the Vols was the 1989 game between the two schools. My parents went to that game, and it was an absolute torrential downpour at Neyland Stadium. Auburn was a huge favorite in that game, but Tennessee held on to win by a score of 21-14. That game, plus the win earlier in the schedule against UCLA, propelled Tennessee into a big year, finishing in a three-way tie for the SEC Championship with Alabama and Auburn, a berth in a major bowl (the Cotton Bowl, back when the Cotton Bowl was considered on par with the Rose, Sugar, Orange, and Fiesta Bowls), and the school's first top five finish since 1985 (which was the year that Tennessee beat then-#1 ranked Auburn here in Knoxville).

The other game I remember really well was the 1997 SEC Championship Game, a game which I still to this day have The Knoxville News-Sentinel newspaper clipping for. Auburn dominated the game early, and then Peyton Manning led the Vols back on a long, I think, hitch pattern touchdown pass to Marcus Nash to give the Big Orange a 30-29 win that gave Tennessee its first SEC Championship since 1990.

The other two games of note that I remember between them were 1990 and 2004. The 1990 game ended in a tie, while Auburn won the 2004 SEC Championship Game in what I think still remains the highest scoring championship game in its history. I think Auburn won that game 37-28.

But yeah, I wish Tennessee played Auburn more often. That was a rivalry that was played for decades, long before the Tennessee/Florida rivalry heated up in the early 1990s when Steve Spurrier changed the way the SEC played football. While I hate Florida with every fiber in my body because of the fact that they have dominated us for the past 20+ years, the rivalry has no real tradition or history to it like the Auburn rivalry had. While there have now been more big games played between Tennessee and Florida as a result of the split of the conference into an East amd West division (for years, the winner of the Tennessee and Florida game was almost sure to represent the SEC East in the conference championship game, win the conference championship, and compete for a national title), I would have liked it had Tennessee selected Auburn back in the 1990s as their second SEC West opponent to play on an annual basis to go along with Alabama.
