Who has a bigger impact?
McClellin or Jeffery?
Im gonna say Jeffery by a slight margin think McClellin splits time with izzy most the year

Well if both have productive rookie years we'll notice what Jeffrey does more than we do McClellin. (we need a nickname for him, even if it rolls off the tongue nicely McClellin is too hard to type) It's the TD's that will stand out if he becomes Cutler's favorite red zone target and he may. For all of his other talents Marshall has never been at his best in the red zone. Of course he's never been paired with another WR the size of Jeffery or a 6'7" TE either.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Jeffery because if we hadn't signed BM, Jeffery could have easily been our #1 WR this year. But now with teams having double team BM and keep EB in check Jeffery should become Jays go to guy.

We'll notice Jeffery more and he will get more attention, but I think that McC will have more impact to the success we're going to have.

I think that Jeffery will have a bigger impact on the offense than McClellin will on the defense. Essentially, I view Jeffery as the "equalizer" in the wide receiver corps of the Bears. By that, I mean he's going to take away a lot of the double teaming that is going to be done on Brandon Marshall when there are deep routes and jump balls thrown. He's also going to help spread the field and get Earl Bennett open on some key plays.
On the other hand, McClellin will not split that much time with Israel Idonije this, or at least I don't think he will. McClellin is a three-down defensive end; that is why Emery picked him the likes of Chandler Jones, Whitney Mercilus, and Nick Perry. Those three guys are situational pass rushers, and that's not what the Bears want nor need. I think Idonije comes in to spot McClellin a breather from time to time, and nothing more.

I agree with the highlighted area. On the part about a nickname, how about we call him, "Gellin' McClellin"?

Agreed. I think that in the short term, we'll definitely notice Jeffery since offense always makes the highlight reels over defense, but in the long run, McClellin's lunch pail mentality and effort on defense will prove to be more valuable to us. He will be the unheralded soldier by the media.

Well congrats......you both win! Shea solves that problem I have with typing the small c than having to a shift for a LARGE C and then there's all those small l's too. So we could just do that but it's plain right.
Now if we take Dags Gellin' McClellin and simply highlight the caps what do we have? Why GMC of course which is one tough Mother of a Trucker and it has a non-stop motor as well. So we be "gellin'" wid' da' man "Gellin McClellin" o' GMC fo' sho't so gib' dat cat sum han' thunda'.
OK, subject to message board approval, somebody do a poll will ya, he's either just plan ole Shea or he's GMC, one tough Mother Trucker.
