Knowing how most professional athletes are, they have all their millions of dollars spent within five years of retirement. Harris has probably blown all his dough, so he probably needs to come back to earn some more.

Okay, knowing that he usually got suspended at least one game for years in a row by Lovie and that he was a shell of himself in 2007, why would we want him in Twenty ***** Twelve?

Why wouldn't he want to come back? The Bears paid him a lot of money, even when it was known that he would never fully recover the explosiveness he once had. Shoot the Bears treated Tommie like a son. They should have gotten rid of him after the 2008 season but they signed him to that stupid $40 million deal a few months before the '08 season. Tommie pocketed a heck of a lot of money from '08-'10 and he wasn't the same player anymore. I was always a fan of Tommie but the Bears really blew it with the money they threw to a player that clearly lost his explosiveness after suffering that terrible injury against the Vikings.
In 2008 his salary was $11.9 million
In 2009 his salary was $7.7 million
I can't find official numbers on his 2010 salary.
It was one of Angelo's worst moves and one of the worst investments the Bears ever made because they were in denial. Shoot Tommie should be itchin to come back here to squeeze out some more cash from the McCaskeys.

Lol, im not saying either way...i just think its premature to assume that he would just because he plays a position of need.

As #4, I think he would be good enough

this guy wanted to retire after his third season. he has no heart for the game I take a pass
I would rather use one of our unknowns they are hungry and have something to prove. And dont dismiss a move by one of our DE to DT
