I remember that Viking game a few years back when he made Randy Moss his "bitch for the day" by taking away a sure TD pass that would have won the game for the Vikes. There are no stats kept by anyone but the team on the number of game saving or game changing plays he's made with turnovers but I'm betting the number is significant.
Like Dags said, his team knows just how valuable a player he is and so do fans that follow the team. He's been hosed as far as post season honors go for years and I'm just glad others are seeing the same things we are. He's one of the best all around CB's in the league.
I remember that game Soul. There are so many good things Tillman does that never shows up in the box score. And he's an outstanding, physical tackler.

I have often said this with regard to former New York Yankees players who were productive for the team, but maybe didn't have the stats to get them into the Hall of Fame. The Yankees have a place at the stadium called Monument Park. In it are monuments to the greatest collection of Yankee players off all time, like Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Mantle, Ford, Berra, Dickey, Maris, Martin, Jackson, Mattingly, Stengel, Huggins, Ruffing, Guidry, etc. Don Mattingly, who was my favorite all-time athlete, did not have the numbers to get into the Hall of Fame, but because he had six big seasons for the Yankees from 1984-1989 in which he was arguably the best player in Major League Baseball, he was honored by his team and his fans. Mattingly may never get into the Hall of Fame as a player, but he will always hold a special place in the hearts of Yankee fans and the organization as he was honored with his own plaque in Monument Park as well as had his number retired.
The same will go for Peanut. He may not make a whole of Pro Bowls, be an All-Pro, or be voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but he is a champion in the hearts of the people that matter the most, which are his fans, his teammates, and the organization for which he plays (the Bears). Should he have been an All-Pro or a Pro Bowler several times already? Yeah, probably so. But he wasn't. He still got honored in that way this past season, and he continues to be honored with the respect of the Bears and Bears' fans. And that's all he really needs to be remembered for.
