    According to Larry Mayer of ChicagoBears.com, the Chicago Bears have agreed to terms with their top draft pick, DE Shea McClellin:

    LM: The #Bears have agreed to terms on a 4-year contract (and a 5th-year option) with 1st round pick Shea McClellin.

    McClellin played four seasons with the Boise St. Broncos and entered the 2012 NFL Draft as one of the league's top-rated outside linebackers. The Bears chose to keep McClellin at his original position, defensive end, where he accumulated 20.5 sacks and 33 tackles for loss, despite starting only three seasons.
    With a 5% sack rate, the Chicago Bears were tied for fourth-worst pass-rushing defense in the league in 2011.

    The Bears move pretty quickly getting their guys signed so they can take part in the mini-camps. This is the benefit of staying on the good side as far as the cap goes. We never have to cut guys to get rookies under contract and the Bears don't wait until June or July like some teams do. When motown posted that Irvin had signed for about $8 mil and change it figured that Shea wouldn't be far behind.
    I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
