All it really takes for a QB like Cutler to make it to the HOF it a couple of SB wins, if you don't beleive me as John Elway.

Speaking of which, BBPB, have you read my article I wrote titled "Lovie Smith and General Robert R. Neyland of the University of Tennessee...."? From time to time, I write articles for the site, yet few people ever read them. I put a couple of pictures in the opening article, so it won't totally be boring. Go read it if you haven't had a chance to.

Are you implying that Cutler is simply that good, or that Elway was lucky to have gotten his SB victories?

What he was implying, Henry, was that players, especially quarterbacks, who play on World Championship teams tend to find the road to Canton, OH, easier to get to than those who never make it onto the big stage. Sure, in modern times, there were a couple of exceptions - Marino and Moon - who are now in the HOF without having ever won a single Super Bowl, but average to above average quarterbacks like Bart Starr, Bobby Layne, and Terry Bradshaw have made it into the Hall of Fame strictly because they won multiple championships.
