I thought this was an intriguing idea for a thread. Who do you think that the Bears have on the team will be future Hall of Famers or have the potential to be enshrined in Canton one day?

Urlacher and Peppers should be in.
Briggs might be a candidate, but there's a stigma that comes with being a non-MLB in the Tampa 2.
If Brandon Marshall goes bananas the next couple of years with Cutler and puts up some TD numbers, he could get consideration. The number of receptions and yards he has so far is pretty impressive.
And ofc ourse, if they make an exception of a return man, then Hester is a lock.
Right now I'd say Urlacher and Peppers as position players and Hester as a Return Specialist. This ones a little more dicey but his records speak for them self. He's the most dynamic player at that position to ever play the game.
Agreed Soul. There has never been a player in the return game like Hester. And he just demoralizes teams with his runbacks.
I agree with Urlacher, Peppers and Hester based on what they've already done. But, as far as potential, I would agree with Marshall if he continues putting up 1,000 yard seasons and some more touchdowns year in and year out. Also, I think Cutler has the talent and potential if he can start putting up big numbers with his new supporting cast.
Urlacher, Peppers, Briggs, possibly Cutler if he gets things back on track with Bates in the house with him again, Marshall, and Hester. I think if the Bears win a Super Bowl or two with these guys, they could all get in.
Cutler could be too, but he better get those numbers up real high because with what Brady, Brees, Rodgers and the Mannings have done in the past few years...has seriously raised the standards for QBs.
If Cutler starts passing for 4,500 yards a season like everyone else has been doing over the coming years, then I see no reason why he cannot make it all the way to Canton.
Speaking of which, BBPB, have you read my article I wrote titled "Lovie Smith and General Robert R. Neyland of the University of Tennessee...."? From time to time, I write articles for the site, yet few people ever read them. I put a couple of pictures in the opening article, so it won't totally be boring. Go read it if you haven't had a chance to.
