Yeah, Hayden is my favorite, but I wouldn't bet against an established Jennings.

Thanks, Papa Bear and sox. I didn't really have a feel other than I knew that Hayden has experience running the Cover 2 based out of the old Tony Dungy system, and that he was a bigger physical specimen altogether than Jennings. I think he would be better at creating takeaways than Jennings, who I think only had like two interceptions in the entire 2011 season.

Yep, it's gonna be up to Jennings to hold onto his spot because Hayden was brought in to challenge him for it. Regardless of who wins the battle I feel much better about our CB depth with him around than I did with Bowman backing last years.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

As do I. I like the idea that we've added a corner with some height and weight to him to keep up with the taller receivers in today's game. Hayden will have just enough reach to be able to interfere with what wide outs like Calvin Johnson are capable of doing who built like Sequoyahs.
