Its more about what Schiano thought of him. Schiano is a no nonsense type of coach and believes in handling all players the same way.

Thank gawd we didn't get him. Not only would he limit the development of Davis (because I don't see Winslow as a mentor but more of a diva), he would also be a locker room cancer.
We didn't have cap room for him anyway. The only was we may have gotten him is if he'd be cut and we could have negotiated a new deal with him. Seattle traded for him so they need to pay his contract.
