President Barack Obama, an avid Bears fan, tossed a football around at his favorite team’s stadium Sunday night after a working dinner with visiting NATO dignitaries at Soldier Field.
The picture was featured as “Photo of the Day” on the official White House website. This past October, the President welcomed the 1985 Bears to the White House to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their Super Bowl XX championship.
Flanked by Mike Ditka and Buddy Ryan and standing in front of nearly 40 players from the famed team on that day, the Bears’ First Fan said: “This is as much fun as I will have as president of the United States.”
Something tells me that the Bears will have a new backup quarterback in 2013.
I'd like to have Obama as our new backup QB! All tho nobody would be able to actually go to their games.
We need more presidents from Chicago, go Obama!

Good one... dude that reminds me our last year game. I wish we had better luck with QB. Hoping best for this year. Go Obama, Go Bears !...

Yea, uh, the last thing we need is more Chicago (Cook County) politicians corrupting even more of our nations government. However, I will say that an active POTUS as a Bears QB would be outstanding. The current O-Line would be replaced by secret service who would certainly provide much better protection. Unfortunately, Chicago would have to increase the volume of Hookers from it's present number.
