Chicago Bears Where/when to buy Bears tickets? (Aussie coming over)

I'm coming across the pond from the 10th-23rd. Can't wait to see the Bears roll the Texans at Soldier Field and then the 49ers in San Fran the next week.

But I've got no idea when/where to buy tickets? I read the Bears site that they are released in July/August but I've seen tickets on other websites.

Am I better off buying those tickets now or waiting until more are released?

    Thanks

It's worth a try to buy them when they go on sale on Ticketmaster - but it's a long shot to actually get tix that way. They usually sell out the entire season in a few minutes. But try, because you'll get the best price by far that way. Some years I land tickets that way. If you can't get tickets the day they go on sale at Ticketmaster you can easily get tickets through a resale vendor like Stub Hub. If you have to go through Stub Hub you pay an outrageous markup price. But often that's the only way I can get tickets. Good luck.

I'm coming over to Australia to travel around December-April. Do you know the best way to watch any football games and if not.. at least the Super Bowl and perhaps playoffs? Is there somewhere I could go in public or maybe hotel for that night is the best way to go?

    Thanks :)

Every playoff game is always on free-to-air TV, so if you are staying somewhere with a TV you can watch them. That's on channel ONE. For regular season games there's usually about 3-4 games aired on ONE per week (always SNF and MNF I think) and more on cable TV.

Bars/pubs will open for breakfast on Super Bowl day but I don't know about other games. It might be hard to find somewhere to watch reg season games but I'm sure there'd be a place in the capital cities to watch them.

What I usually do is torrent every Bears game (may or may not be legal ;)) or you can use NFL season pass to stream them (costs a bit tho).
