Remember the Fog Bowl?
Just saw that NFL.com had this up again....
http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-networ...content_stream .
I remember watching that game on TV.... Sadly, they left out Ditkas' "They shoulda scored while the sun was shining like we did" comment.
"Professional Armchair Quarterback" and other oxymora.....

Ha! Never heard that before. Awesome.

I remember it alright...I remember I could barely see what the heck was going on the game. Announcers messed up that game for me.

Well I see we're back in operation again. Yeah that Fog Bowl game had to be one of the more interesting weather challenged games in NFL history.

I was at the fog-bowl and it was one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen in my life. Sitting in the south end-zone. The day started out beautiful and sunny and that fog came in and just blotted out everything. You couldn't see past the 40 year line from our seats and we had to listen for the crowds reaction on the other side of the stadium to know what was going on. A guy next to us had a radio but it didn't really help because the announcers couldn't see what was going on. At one point Duerson, I think, either intercepted a pass or picked up a fumble and all we saw was one Bear player running out of the fog. It was incredible.

Thanks for sharing that Bantam. I think it's easier to picture what it might have been like when it's described by someone who was there.
