I mean, aside from stabbing two people to death, then getting away with it after he imtimidated witnesses who were to testify against him, he was a pretty good player. Yeah, you just gotta ignore the whole double murder thing.
Really that's how it went? Because if things went the way you said they did, then the prosecution would have put him away easily. Lewis was given due process and he was given a plea bargain and no proof was ever shown that he murdered those 2 men. As an NFL player, Lewis is everything that is right with the NFL. We watch player sbecause of what they do on the field, not off of it.

You have Clayton confused with Skip Bayliss (sp?).

Damn, my bad, you're 100% correct. Thanks for catching that PB. Can't hate on the wrong guy.
Well only one thing to do. Mr. Clayton I take it all back. My emotions were misplaced. I hate the little fucker Skip Bayless. Actually Clayton's a pretty knowledgeable football guy. He seems to his his homework

Mutliple witnesses saw him stab the two people, kick them while they were on the ground and incite others to kick them. After undoubtedly getting a visit from some of Lewis's friends, those witnesses either changed their stories or refused to testify. The only question in my mind is whether Lewis' people bought off the witnesses or threatened them. And yes, Lewis is a great player, but even on the playing field and in his public persona, he seems like a total piece of shit.

So please define what amounts to a "total piece of shit"? Btw, I hope you've contacted the prosecutor of that case with all this critical evidence that apparently only you have. lol

1. There was a fight between two groups of people that night that resulted in the deaths of two people.
2. There was zero physical evidence that indicated Ray Lewis had anything to do with those deaths (or even kicking or beating anyone) . Nothing. If you've ever been involved in a major fight like this, you know how things can escalate from words to a bunch of crazy people (you can't control) doing some crazy things in the fight (unfortunately I have been involved in something like this myself years ago). I didn't start anything, but when the dust settled people went to the hospital with horrific injuries. My only "crime" was being stupid to be in that place & to be with the people I was with. Sounds like this may have been the case with Ray Lewis. Stupid doesn't equal murder.
3. Lewis did panic and tell his group to not volunteer any info to police - a stupid move - and later Lewis plead guilty to that offense.
4. In this country everyone is considered to be innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. That doesn't just apply to Ray Lewis. It applies to people like us. You and me. Lewis wasn't found guilty of murdering those two people. Undoubtedly someone in the fight did stab and kill those two, but that doesn't make Lewis guilty of murder.
5. Lewis is actually considered a good guy who has done a lot of good charity work to help folks in need. He's done this throughout his professional career.
These are the facts. But, unfortunately, people will always choose to believe garbage rather than facts & consequently people's reputations get destroyed over things that are not truthful or factual.

I'm glad someone else knows the facts about Ray Lewis and what came out during that trial. Way too many people rush to judgement based on how they perceive certain athletes.

But not you. You are way too smart for that.
