Dammit! OK, now I'm depressed reading about Williams!
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...at-bills-otas/
Well, maybe more upset than depressed. I really wanted us to find a way to pull the trigger on this guy. Yeah, I know that logically we could not afford him, but I never let logic get in the way of something I want.
Nice to read about him anyway I guess. Hope he enjoys that SB trophy he is going to bring to the Bills (not!)

Wow, I had a heart attack but now I'm relieved. From the thread title I thought something bad happened with Chris Williams, and J Webb would be our starter.

Well, we may have missed an opportunity to put 2 five star DE's on the field together but you never know what the next draft, FA, or upcoming player might bring. There will be other opportunities.
Hell, I still wonder what the '85 Bears would have been like with a Bruce Smith or a Reggie White on that team.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

LOL - never thought about that. Well, your nightmare may still come true. Webb may still be the man.
You know, I get down on the guy but if he wins the competition fair and square, so be it. I just want him to play like a pro lineman on Sundays. Stop someone. Well, ok, stop someone in the other jersey that is trying to get at our QB. Just so he doesn't get confused

Richard Dent wasn't so bad. But with White and Dent they would have won the SB. wait.... they did LOL

Actually, I was just thinking about "dream team" combinations as like Peppers and Mario.

Well it wasn't like Emery ignored the possibility but Buffalo's just wanted him more and upped the ante beyond what we could do. We're not completely lost with Izzy and McClellin out there. Izzy had 8 sacks in 2010 then fell off last year but that may have been from the huge number of snaps he took. Same with Pep.
We need good performance from McClellin and Wooton this year to give those guys some rest. I'm actually thinking that McClellin will get more than half the snaps a LDE if he proves he can handle both run and pass.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

And how would that be any different then normal? Id be more surprised to see an article about C-Will NOT being on the injury report.

Wooton is my pick for breakout season in 2012. This year is going to be different.

I'm with you on this. The injury last season had to be hard for a guy who looked prime to overtake Izzy while being a serious rotation contributor on both ends. He and Shea should be a heck of a battle for PT.
