I keep getting last weeks grouping w/Ulracher at 51.

That's a bit high for Hester.

ya but that means we have 3 out of the top 100; and at least Peppers is going to be on there too, which is 4. That's more then the average team is going to have; and Cutler/Forte will probably make it on there also.

well, the link is working for me... apologies. Also, lotta people voting "overrated" so... roll out the bear backer machine!
As for whether he is overrated? Well, since Hester (and the Bears) have done what they have, other teams are starting to look for return specialists to create the kind of success the Bears have achieved with Hester. Like it or not, Hester has changed how at least some teams have looked at Special Teams.

I don't know that he deserves to be at #48 but just on the basis of record breaking HOF return skills he deserves a place in the top 100.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Flip the 3 Bears on the list, Urlacher 48, Briggs 51 and Hester where Briggs is and I think it's a better list. But again, this is what the Players think...I think that really speaks for him.

I'm really hoping Hester becomes a weapon as a WR this year. We look to have a much more powerful offense & if Hester could pull some electrifying magic on some WR plays, that would be icing on the cake. He's be just one more weapon to worry defenses.

I really do believe that Marshall's impact is going to be felt in more ways than we can imagine. And I just have a feeling that the Bears are finally serious about putting Hester in a position to really make plays on offense. And I'm not talking about all those stupid WR screens that Martz liked using him for. God I hate WR screens!!! The only one that worked last year came in week 1 against ATL. lol
