Ive seen a lot of hype on this guy this offseason
Any predictions on how he will do with the "hester package"
Also ive heard the "experts" on nfln saying his KR days are almost behind him (being feared that is)
I strongly disagree
Thoughts?

Well he's regulated to only PR right now, no KR so there is something to be said for that.
I think he'll have his best year this year. He won't be the 1st or 2nd option...and if Forte is here he won't be the 3rd either. But that is also the case for D's that see him on the field. So even though his looks will be limited he'll have better #'s....same as Forte. Less touches over all, but when he does he'll do more b/c the D's cannot center on them.
They've already been reducing his load as a KR over the last two or three years. Knox had more returns last year than Hester and I expect we'll see Weems back there this year. He's a pretty good return man. I don't see why anyone would claim his days as a top Return Specialist are nearing an end when he keeps burning a team or two every year.
How is the "Hester Package" doing? Well Cutler has been pretty pleased with him and that counts for a lot. From Hester's own words we know that they've finally moved him into the slot for some of his plays so that tells me they're beginning to use him properly. I think as a #4 guy with a very special mission out there he'll do fine. They just need to get the ball to him where he has an opportunity to make the "big play".
It sounds like they are going to use Hester in a way that will play to his strengths - and matching him up to opponents weaker defenders. With our offensive weapons being MUCH improved this season, Hester will be strategically used to get sweeter matchups (out of the slot). No more dumb plays (I hope) like that stupid bubble pass that seemed to lose a yard or two all season long. No more getting matched up against #1 or #2 CB's. They'll be plenty busy trying to cover Marshall & hopefully Jeffery (and our speedy receiving TE & receiving RB's will help stretch "D's" thin). And Hester will still be on punt returns. I'm looking for him to be a great weapon this year - but one of MANY weapons.
