It's good to hear about the positive impact Marshall is having on the team as well. No doubt that WR core needs a leader, especially Jeffery, and it looks like Marshall is becoming that guy. Now that he undertands his conditions and what he needs to do to control it he seems to have turned a major corner as far as his attitude and behavior is concerned. Added to that is the fact that being reunited with Cutler and on a team with SB aspirations and he's a happy camper maybe for the first time in his entire career.
If he could do what he's done in the past when he was unhappy I can't wait to see what he's capable of when he is.
lol NO ONE is goint to match Deion's personality, he is unique in that regard. He invented the Diva WR, TO and "ochocinco" are just pale imitations, and even then, they fail to be anything like Deion.
But yeah, Hester is the best returner in league history, but simply being good at one thing, does not mean it will translate into another aspect of the game. Its kind of like asking Peyton Manning to play Linebacker.

But the guy we got seems to have grown up.
I think that's the biggest part of it. There had to be an aha moment when he realized his behavior was eventually gonna mean the end of his career. If Miami trashed him he might have gone the way of TO where nobody wanted to do anymore than rent him for a season to make the playoffs. There were no guarantees left in his Miami deal. It was strictly pay for play and that also made it a good deal for us.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
