Thread: Season Predictions: Offense, Defense, ST's, Wins, Losses, Playoff Run

I predict it is too early to predict considering we haven't even seen a pre-season game and a depth chart.

We will win the NFC-N & send those Packers packing. Lions & Vikes will underperform again.
We will be in the NFC Title game. I'm predicting we'll win that game and go to the Super Bowl.

We can run this again after Pre-Season games are over. Obviously NO one knows how the season will actually end, even after we've played the early games. But it's fun to predict.

I don't think there's any doubt the offense will improve. We'll pass the ball more and we've added guys who are proven scorers so there should be fewer stops on the goaline and less settling for chip shot FG's.

The defense should have the goal of not sliding farther and certainly cleaning up their act as far as vulnerability to the deep pass is concerned. The play at Safety needs to come up quite a bit from last year and the pass rush needs to improve. I take the Bear defensive ranking with a grain of salt. It's based on yards allowed and we always give up yardage up and down the field but tighten up a lot in the red zone. We usually avoid giving up big plays that way but last year we didn't and that needs to change. So I'd call that an improvement but not as much as the offensive improvement will be.

Special Teams won't lose any ground but it's hard to say they'll be any better. It seems like we're always in the top five and things can get pretty bunched up so there can be very little difference in who ranks 1st and who ranks 5th. We have better depth in our return game this year but how that plays out is anybodies guess.

Make it to the SB.
Win the division with one more win than Packers. Packers will lose to Bears, 49'ers, Texans, and Lions.
MaddenCurse will destroy the season for Lions.

Now you can call me what ever you like but I'm staying optimistic. I think both Shea and Jeffery can make an good impact from the start. This is ofcause assuming Forte will play, to create a long attack with Bush. Jeffery + Marshall for the long yards.

O-line improvement, Webb major improvement... or well any improvement is welcomed. Urlacher and Briggs staying healthy and Shea + Peppers going to rip apart the QB's.

So yea, at the end of the day, make it happen Bears, and win another SB for us.
For you that are more negative towards to Bears season, if anyone is that, well don't worry, my aura will shine with positive engery, it's my gut feeling we win.
