With our big/fast/athletic WR's. Gonna be tough on opposing DB's.

Each of these guys also has a huge catching radius.

    Jeffrey Alshon 6'3"

    Brandon Marshall 6'4"

Chris Summers 6'5" (long shot to make the final roster, but he sounds like he's got a lot of raw talent)

    Kellen Davis 6'7"

(and we'll have a rocket, Devin Hester, exploding out of the slot, and sure handed Bennett back too)

Look at the DB's in our division. A bunch of 5-foot something-inches for the most part (although Green Bay has old man Woodson at 6'1".....but he should be ready for an aluminum walker by this 2012 season). If I'm an opposing defense, I'm crapping myself worrying about how to cover our group of WR's. Cutler has a canon for an arm. All he has to do is basically chuck that ball long and our guys are going to come down with a catch over the midget DB's.

The only thing that can stop us - is if our LT is a turnstile. That's the ONLY thing that can kill our offense this season. If Webb (or C.Williams) can protect Cutler. Nobody can stop our offense.

And the D has to worry about our running game, unlike GB and Det. We went from a non dynamic O to a very dynamic O; if the OL is up to par

With the number of fast, down-field high-talent weapons we have all of a sudden - passing and running - there won't be any 8 in the box to defend, and even Webb may be serviceable at LT. This season can't get here soon enough.

Yeah dont count out our rushing attack as well

Add in screns and draws to keep blitz packages at bay and we have a fun offense

This could end up being the most fun offense to watch in Bears history. And I agree with all of the posts regarding our run game. When you have killer-weapons with BOTH the run AND the passing game, there is a synergy. Both are better. Throw in our usual GREAT special teams play (great field position) and we could be one of the most feared offenses in the NFL this season. Not Green Bay. Us.

St's is really the only thing that is going to limit this O; if we continually get the ball on the 30-50 yard line our O will not get the yards that others will get.

We may not get the yards, but hopefully they more than make up for that in scoring offense. That's what really matters, the points.

Yeah, I didn't think about that. Davis impresses due to the fact he's not just tall, but a gifted athlete and receiver. I've watched him at training camp and he makes jaw-dropping catches from Cutler. Over-and-over again. He really stands out as a special receiving TE. To be honest, I don't know much about Spaeth or Villuneva's receiving skills.

Spaeth pretty much has bricks for hands and no speed to speak of. He's primarily a blocking TE and I think they'll use him on the left side of the formation to give the LT some help when he's struggling with a particular rusher.

He may be of some use on the goaline but not much in the open field. Look for Davis and Rodriguez to be the pass catchers. Despite his size Villenueva isn't very likely to make the team as a TE but I keep wondering with his size if they could shift over to defense at coach him to play DE and DT. If your a QB imagine trying to throw over that.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
