With a new offensive scheme being put into place, I'm not as concerned about Webb as I would be if Martz was returning. People need to put that Martz nightmare in the back of their heads because we aren't going to be running these pass plays that take forever to develop. We're not going to be seeing a game called liek we did that Monday night when the Giants cleaned Cutler's clock.
I agree. Actually, I think we are loaded with interior line talent this season. Maybe that is part of the reason Tice is considering making C. Williams a tackle again. Anyway, it's the tackles I'm watching. I'm not worried, so much as I'm in that "wait and see" mode. I do think we'll be fine. Possibly GREAT if Webb can protect Cutler better.

I'm looking forward to seeing these guys coach. Hope they're good.

Thayer is one of my all time favorite linemen. He was low key, but he was poetry in motion leading Payton at times. Suhey too. I loved, absolutely loved, watching Matt Suhey lead block for Payton.

Not many can handle Jared Allen one on one.
I wasn't singling him out. It's just that the lead article was focused on him. Louis gave up ten at RT. Five in one game. That's even worse than Webb's game against Jared Allen. Most of the sacks were coming from the OT's men but they weren't the only ones. If there was a surprise to me though it was Spencer. He was credited with allowing just one sack and he played against some tough competition.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

I remember seeing Becker and Bortz pulling the sweep and it was like seeing two angry wrecking balls. I'd love to see Thayer as a assistant line coach here.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

Right this minute I'm watching the Los Angeles Rams game (the '85 NFC Championship game) and the oline is a thing of beauty.
