Anyone going to Training Camp?
My avatar is a photo of my young son getting an autograph from John Tait at TC back in 2005 and we haven't been back since. However, I think we're headed back this year. Just curious if anyone else is headed to Bourbonnais? Obviously he's a bit older now (15), so hopefully he'll understand it all a little more now.

If you're going you have the duty of taking lots of pics and posting them here.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Without question. Between my son (who takes pictures of everything) and I, we'll provide a good sampling.

And bring lots of money. The building you have to walk thru to get to the fields, is a Bears pro shop that is second to none. I want to buy one of everything when I go thru there.
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

I'm going. I try to go every year with my son and his friends. We began this many years ago when they were little guys. Now they're college guys and we can caravan up there. I have so many many great memories of the camps from past.

I'm hoping to get something like that going myself. I guess there is some dive spot up there, so my wife and daughter plan to go scuba diving while the boys do this. In my opinion, we boys are the smarter of our group. LOL

When I first got to the dive spot part, I thought about the tavern around the corner from camp. JT's I think it is. Place to be after practice. ![10 7 1[1]](/images/smilies/Alcohol/10_7_1[1].gif)
As far as scuba, I think there's a quarry a little east from camp. Sometimes it's nice to have the little lady with you at camp, but other times, well, like shopping, let 'em go do their own thing so I can do mine. We've gone every year since they moved to Bearbonnais. Why they ever were in Pissconsin I'll never understand.

Plattville was a PARTY, thats why. Some of the best time were there. The new place is so , say CLEAN. No smoking, drinking. It feels so, I don't know, BLAH. But back in the day Wis. was way better.

I'm pretty sure I'm heading out to Bourbonnais for the first Saturday/Sunday of camp once the team gets pads on. Looking forward to it!
Is it best to bring a lawn chair/cooler or get there early enough to grab a seat in one of the stands?
