Sure, I am concerned a bit. His age, his knees..... sooner or later (hopefully much much later) its all going to come crashing down. You just dont know when.
We'll see what happens once camp starts and the preseason games begin. If they're still holding him out then I'd be concerned but for now, nah. Let him rest it and just work on keeping himself in condition to play. We'll know soon enough whether or not it's gonna continue to be a problem.
In the meantime both Roach and DeCicco are getting some first team reps and I see that as a good thing. If by chance Urlacher can't play at all we need somebody back there with enough experience to take over. That used to be Hilly but he's gone and we need to replace him. DeCicco looks to me like he may have that kind of ability.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
