Me likey.
No I think you're right. That's exactly what's happening. Under Martz it had to be frustrating to always be asked to do the impossible or at least what you were incapable of. I think that applies to any of us. It's just human nature to want to succeed but constantly asking players to perform beyond their capabilities is about the most demotivating thing you can do.
Martz didn't care more for his players than he did his useless God Damn antiquated system. That's being totally disrespectful to your guys and sometimes it showed up in their play. The main reason why the defensive guys all love Lovie is that he doesn't ask that of them. Either he adapts to his players or he sits a guy out until he can be coached to execute the right way.
The big difference on offense is that Cutler is talking over as the offensive leader and he's happy with what's happening so it reflects on down the line. These guys are doing things and making plays they've never done before and it's wowing some of them to see just how much talent there is that's been underused or misused for so long. Football if fun again.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

No doubt this team has a very versatile O in the works. You have a power run game in short yardage situations, you have a very diverse wr group that can make big plays, and you have a "Ultra" back who can run and catch and block and is devistating in space and when the D over pursues. You are even going to step into the modern NFL and use the *gasp* TE's as receivers....
