Would You Do This Trade?
WR/KR/PR-Devin Hester for CB-Joe Haden.
Joe Haden has mad skills and is only 23 years old. Many analysts think he will be the next Darelle Revis. Joe Haden is cheap too. He is fast, smart, and rough football player. I know we all love Devin Hester but it is getting to the point where he isn't really helping our team anymore. Trust me I love Devin alot. He was even my favorite player before. But to be honest, now is the time to get rid of him.

Yeah he ONLY had 3 TD's returns last year. That's not much help. Now add to that what he can do in an offense where they finally use him the way they should have in the past and maybe you add another half dozen scores or some long downfield catches.
Who the hell is Joe Haden and what all pro honors has he received. Many analysts could be wrong too. You don't trade a future HOF player on a speculative move like that. I wouldn't even trade him for Champ Bailey or Rod Woodson.
So that's a big NO WAY!
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.

Thank you for stating that. My opinion would be filled with more curse words than i'd know what to do with (nothing against the poster, or the thread, as it's just an idea to throw around). Not only has Hester changed the record books in an amazingly quick time, he makes other teams give us better field position rather than the slight chance he'll score a TD, but to top it off, they changed the rules to make it harder for him to do his job (sorry, i don't believe that 35 yard kickoff was more for safety than to **** over the best).

Only had 3Td's last year, + giving amazing field position and creating issues for the D's where ever he lines up.
Just watch how a player is always spying him when he moves accross the field pre snap. For a sub par WR that's pretty impressive.

Wow guys, I understand the love for Devin, but I'm not sure why you're coming down so hard on bmarshall. Devin has NOT shown himself to be better than an adequate WR in the NFL, even though he is a HOF return guy. Joe Haden is a VERY good CB and was a top 10 pick of the Brown in 2012. I guess I have to ask everyone, would you have traded Devin before the 2012 draft for a top 10 pick? I would have and I wouldn't even hesitate.
I guess the real question is that which has already been asked above, why would the Brown even consider this? BMarshall, what is your motivation for this question? Do you know this kid and just want to see him in a Bear uni or something? It's just kind of an out-of-the blue name to hit us with, but it certainly isn't a dumb idea, just curious. Why would the Browns want to get rid of a kid that is becoming a lock-down corner with 3 years left on his rookie contract and no significant injuries that I'm aware of?
