I agree with what was said here. The Bears were a better team than the Lions before Cutler got injured last year. The Bears significantly improved their offensive talent and added at a few key spots on defense. The Bears are still better than the Lions. But I guess that's why they play the games.
I cannot see us dropping below the Lions, but anything is possible. I'll still pick us in the WC this year; w/a chance to take the NFCN div title. But WAY to early to tell.
Well like I said in my other post, a few key injuries, some lucky bounces of the ball and the Bears, Packers and Lions are not separated by enough that it couldn't go in almost any order as far as the top three. On paper all three teams have improved areas of weakness but who gains the most from that is yet to be seen.
I'm getting to that age where a lifetime warranty just doesn't mean as much to me anymore as an afternoon nap.
