    Civil suit against Marshall dismissed
    Former girlfriend sought damages from Bears receiver for battery and false imprisonment

    A civil suit in Georgia State Court filed by a former of Bears receiver Brandon Marshall was dismissed May 25, records show.

    Rasheedah Watley filed the lawsuit in 2009 against Marshall, accusing him of two counts each of battery and false imprisonment, in June 2007 and March 2008, and seeking punitive damages, according to the complaint.

    In 2009, a jury found Marshall not guilty of misdemeanor battery charges stemming from incidents of March the previous year with Watley. The couple began dating in junior high school but the relationship grew volatile when Marshall reached the NFL.

    The Dolphins traded Marshall to the Bears in March. Marshall, who in 2010 married to Michi Nogami-Campbell, never has been found guilty of domestic violence.

    Attorneys for both parties declined comment.

    Well apparently his crazy loves crazy...what can you do.

    good to hear that a lot of this is clearing up for him. Hope he can keep on his meds and out of trouble while in Chicago.
