Thread: Web cam at TC. Do you think they'd ever consider this?

    Web cam at TC. Do you think they'd ever consider this?

    Web cam setups are pretty simple to set up. Surely they have wi-fi at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais.

    Do you think the Bears would ever consider doing this at training camp so the Bears fans around the world could check in to see what's happening? Or would this reveal "state secrets" to the enemy Packers? Heck, there are hundreds and hundreds of camera's taking pics and video at camp anyway, so what would a web cam hurt?

    We ought to write Larry Mayer and see if this is something they'd consider.

    Depending on where and when it is used I don't believe it would reveal much strategically but with sound it could reveal the verbage used. I think it would be one of those things where all the teams would have to do it though.

    Heck, I'd enjoy it even if they didn't do sound. But I'm simple minded & easily entertained watching the Bears practice.

    I just sent Larry Mayer an email asking about this. He'll probably think I'm a nut in a tin foil cap (I've emailed him before so he probably already thinks I'm a nut). I was careful to not mention I am a member of this message board, so I don't bring dishonor to the folks here too.

    I don't see why they wouldn't consider this for practices that are open to the public anyways. Maybe for a small fee?

    Considering they nearly banned YourBoyRoy from training camp a few years ago, I highly doubt it.
