Briggs hands down. Last 2 years I've observed bigger plays coming from him. Urlacher misses a lot of guys running through the middle of the defense now. That's right BBPB said it!

..... Add a grain of salt. I do know LB can't cover RB's or TE's as good as BL. Briggs got more tackels, OK? As someone pionted out who forced what Off player to the other? But if BBPB is going with LB , then I ( and since i BELIEVE, which then makes it true) go with BU. LB is the Pippen to BU the Jordan

Maybe you should buy a 50" tv so you can see the games a bit better. Urlacher has been missing a lot of tackles the past 2 years. No one wants to say it. He's still a good player but Briggs is better at this stage in their careers. Hits people a lot harder that Urlacher too.

Why would I want smaller tv's? And hitting people is a pet peeve. It's about tackling people, not hitting. See all these players going for hits and not wrapping up and tackling, thats just BAD fundamentals. But yea, its easy to shine when someone is putting you in position to make the play, and all you have to do is do what your told. Maybe you just need to see what your watching, and not BELIEVE you seen something else.

Obviously I'm with BBPB on this. I've seen too many games the last years where Urlacher is missing the tackle, and honestly, if Urlacher is the reason they don't wanna run up the middle, Briggs rarely ever ******s up on a bad play.

    Hahaha...smaller eh...

Please man, Briggs wraps up as good as any LB. Rarely do you see Briggs get juked, wrap up poorly or just miss a tackle. Urlacher's best years, where he was in beast mode and was tough to shake were from 2001 - 2006. He just did everything well then and patrolled that middle like a sniper. He's just lost something to his game now man. Not sure why Bears fans are afraid to admit it. Even Ray Lewis has lost something to his game. Has for quite a few years but nobody has the balls to say.

Nah, I made the thread, because I've always thought Briggs has been playing better the past few years, and I concur with the points you've made.
